Labours of the Months (7 minutes / 2022)

Continuity editing and graphic matches capture the continuities of agricultural practice over time and reflect upon the conveyor belt of industrial farming. The forces of nature are at once co-opted into the industrial system, whilst remaining limiting/shaping factors in the production chain. The archival footage was sourced from The Museum of English Rural Life and the project was supported by Arts Council England.
